Very nice people but incompetent practice. I have a two year old that needs a tongue tie revision. I was referred to this office by my pediatrician although I requested an ENT because of the age of my son. I called Smile Design to schedule and specifically asked if and how it was possible to do a revision without anesthesia for a noncompliant two year old. The receptionist assured me they could and would and did it all the time. I scheduled an appointment, wasted three hours of my life driving to/from and sitting at the appointment only to be told that no, they cannot do a revision on noncompliant two year olds. ??? And to top it off, they charged me $100 for an "exam". This was just a consultation! I was already 100% aware of his tongue tie, thus the whole reason for the appointment! Absolutely a terrible experience. They also said they would write a referral to an ENT practice and email it to me that afternoon. It has been several days and I have not received this referral and I bet the ENT has not either. Do yourself a favor and skip this practice. I do not typically write reviews but after this experience the company reached out five times through text and email asking for a review so here it is! 🤪

I am terrified of the dentist! I’d rather do anything than go, but these women and their staff make EVERY visit comfortable and enjoyable. I would never go anywhere else, and I recommend everyone I know to go here. They are simply the very best in the business. And they are genuinely as nice and compassionate as they seem! A+ on every level!

I was relaxed and stayed that way during the entire procedure. Today I have no pain, no swelling, and just a little soreness. I feel fine and have no need for Tylenol. I am working today with no discomfort. Dr Jacobson was so nice and makes one feel comfortable and informed during the procedure. The office staff was professional and friendly. I give this office a five star review.

For a scaredy-cat like me this dentist office is the best. Courtney the dental hygienist is one of the best people I’ve ever met and to know that she will help me through the whole visit to make sure I’m comfortable is a blessing. You also can’t beat the two ladies in the main office Maria Rosa and Sharon they are so sweet and kind and will do whatever they can to help you.

I’m happy I’ve finally found a dentist in Richmond! I had a great experience getting a cavity filled. I called as a new patient this morning and MariaRosa spent almost an hour making sure my insurance would cover my visit. I felt like I had known her my whole life. They squeezed me in same day with Dr. Foley and she is just as wonderful as everyone says Dr. Ballou is. His practice is truly in good hands. Dr. Foley is very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. It was great to meet all of the staff. I’ve never laughed so much at the dentist!

Dr. Foley is fantastic and every bit as good as Dr. Ballou said she was! My 5 star review definitely remains unchanged. I would give 100 stars if that was an option. Every single appointment has been incredible-I keep waiting on one to disappoint and it just hasn’t happened. As someone who has had more than my fair share of dentist appointments I only wish I had found this office sooner!

Dr. Foley was very knowledgeable and took lots of time to explain my options. It was clear that she wanted what was best for me. She gave me several options that would fit with my budget. She did not try to sell me a high-priced option only. For one tooth, she said we should just wait and she will check it next time. I like that type of conservative approach. I scheduled dental work over the next year so that I can space out the cost over time. I am telling all my friends to see Dr. Foley.

This has to be the best dental office in the state of Kentucky. The nicest people, newest technology, and thorough approach. I’ve never met more knowledgeable yet down to earth people.
